All of us, at different times, have needed some extra support to find our next steps, build our skills, or navigate struggles
A common metaphor for our mental health is that of tending to a garden. How well we're caring for ourselves is reflected in the richness of the soil. The plants, our thoughts, beliefs, and habits, are shaped by what's been sown over time, and by how consistently they've been tended.
Some of what grows in us was planted intentionally. Much of it wasn't. And some of it, however familiar, isn't actually serving us well.
Therapy can be a space to slow down and look honestly at what's growing. To notice the patterns that keep showing up, understand where they came from, and begin shifting the ones that are getting in the way.
